- A Gambier man reported Monday while he was driving on Lisbon-Canfield Road at about 11 a.m. a driver in front of him forced him to stop and then threatened him. The other driver reportedly thought he had struck a dog and wanted him to go back and check on it. He told deputies he did not hit the dog and when he told that to the other driver, the other driver allegedly threatened to get the gun from the truck and make him go back.

- Michele Burge, Country Video, state Route 172, Hanoverton, reported Monday a woman had rented six new release DVDs from the store on Dec. 29. The movies were due Dec. 31, but had not been returned. Burge went to the girl's home and spoke to her mother, who reportedly told her the DVDs were at a friend's home. Burge wanted a report filed, but noted she would not pursue charges if the DVDs are returned.

- Jerry P. Jackson, 31, state Route 45, Lisbon, was charged with obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct for refusing to give deputies his name or cooperate with requests for him to quiet down because the children were upstairs sleeping. Deputies were called to the home for a reported domestic dispute at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday.

- An 85-year-old woman who lives on Teegarden Road, Salem, reported at 2:54 p.m. Monday her husband "had just smacked her." The woman told deputies she had argued with her 86-year-old husband because "he is lazy and sits in his chair all day long." She admitted she threw oyster crackers and coffee grounds at him, which caused him to get up and push her. Her husband claimed she threw several steak knives at him. She admitted to throwing the knives when questioned, but noted she missed him, only throwing them into the room where he was sitting. The husband signed a refusal to prosecute.

- A Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine, man reported at 11:50 p.m. Monday there was a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Padgett and Hunston. Deputies found a man working for AT&T testing the cell towers. He was asked to move his vehicle into the Unity Township garage lot.

- Jerry Holloway, Brookfield Road, Lisbon, reported at 6:34 p.m. Monday Greg Holloway threatened to shoot the locks off the doors of Jerry's trailer because Greg had left some belongings inside after moving out. Deputies spoke with Greg, who claimed he had been joking and would wait until Jerry is there to get his belongings.

- An Oak Grove Road, Wellsville, woman reported at 5:05 p.m. Monday her vehicle was vandalized while it was parked at a home on state Route 154 in Elkrun Township. The driver's side windows and turn signals were all broken out and there was damage reported to the hood and roof.

- A Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, woman reported at 2:07 p.m. Saturday someone has been loosening the lug nuts on her vehicle, something she said has happened three times in the past couple weeks.

- A state Route 558, Leetonia, man reported at 8:02 a.m. Sunday a 12-foot section of his fence had been knocked down and he believed his neighbor had backed into it.

- A Riffle Road, Rogers, woman reported at 2:27 p.m. Sunday she came home to find her 27-inch Vizio TV missing from the living room. She also found gold and sterling silver jewelry missing as well as $15. The dining room window was found damaged and the front door was unlocked when she came home. She also found pry marks on the back door frame.
