- Officers responded to the Salem Community Hospital parking lot at 3:58 p.m. Friday for a report of a man running through the yards south of the facility after a relative had transported him to hospital for treatment. Officers found the man and warned him that his actions could lead to charges. He agreed to return to his relative's vehicle.

- Police responded to a domestic dispute report at an East Third Street home at 4:24 p.m. Friday where a woman reported she had been in verbal dispute with her soon-to-be ex-husband who left prior to officers' arrival. An officer returned to the residence at 9:46 p.m. the same night where the woman once again reported being in a dispute with a man who had left prior to the officer's arrival.

- A South Ellsworth Avenue business owner reported at 4:31 p.m. Friday that he had left a note telling a neighbor to stop parking in the business' parking lot and that upon finding the note, the neighbor had traveled around the side of the building at a high rate of speed, stopped near some employees and threw the crumpled up note at them while yelling obscenities. Since the lot has a sign posted prohibiting non-business parking, officers told the owner to have the vehicle towed if the neighbor continues to park there and contact the department if there are any further issues with her.

While the man was reporting the incident, the Salem Community Hospital reported a male assault victim in the emergency room. An officer spoke with the other man at the hospital and told him to contact the department if he wished to make a statement.
