Seniors2Sophomores program session set
SALEM - Area high school students and their parents are invited to an information session to learn more about the Seniors2Sophomores program at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in Room 134 of the Kent State University Salem campus, 2491 state Route 45.
The information session is open all area high school students and is sponsored by KSU at East Liverpool and Salem. Space is limited; to reserve a seat call 330-332-0361.
Seniors2Sophomores is a dual enrollment program that enables academically qualified high school seniors to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. Participating students may be able to complete the last year of high school and the first year of college at the same time. Tuition and books are free to qualified students.
Breakfast offered at Salem Masons
SALEM-A public breakfast buffet will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Feb. 23 at the Salem Masonic Building, 788 E. State St. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under age 10 and free for children under 2. The menu offers pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, homemade sausage gravy, biscuits, homefries, toast, fruit cocktail, orange juice, coffee and tea. The building is equipped with a handicapped accessible elevator. Proceeds will be directed to the Salem Masonic Building Fund.
