Salem News

- Fern Osterling, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, reported at 10:33 a.m. Saturday her renter drove through her yard causing damage. She had blocked the drive with a tree, but he drove over the tree.

- Steve Cope, Kirk Road, Columbiana, reported at 6:41 p.m. Friday he saw a car turn around in his driveway and it appeared to be the same suspicious car he saw a few months ago on the day his four-wheeler was stolen.

- A 15-year-old Meadow Wood Drive, Salem, girl reported at 6:41 p.m. Friday a schoolmate was accusing her of taking her possessions and the two had a falling out. The other girl then called and left a threatening voicemail message. Deputies called the phone number and got the other girl's mother, who agreed to speak to her daughter so there would be no more problems.

- Fred Springer Jr., state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 4:22 p.m. Friday he believes someone stole his St. Bernard dog, which was missing at 7 a.m. when they went to feed it. The collar was unfastened and still attached to the chain. Springer had already called the County Humane Society, but they had not seen the dog. He was told to call the County Dog Warden in the morning to see if they had found it.
