EAST LIVERPOOL - The Tigers took down the Warriors.
The Wellsville boys' and girls' bowling teams earned sweep Monday over visiting Brookfield at Walnut Lanes.
Wellsville won the boys' match, 2057-1908.
Individually for the Tigers (3-5), Matt Bowling bowled games of 212 and 203 to finish with a 415 series, Noah Palmer bowled games of 195 and 132 to finish with a 327 series and Just Gregg bowled a 192.
"It was a team effort," Wellsville head coach Dale Palmer said. "All the boys chipped in. They added pins in each game. We were up by 105 after the first two games, and then they added pins with each bakers game they rolled. Tonight, was a good follow up from last time. It was a good-team effort."
The Wellsville girls won their match, 1645-1460.
Individually for the Tigers (3-4), Shayla Hall bowled games of 190 and 165 to finish with a 355 series, and Olivia Palmer bowled a high game of 155 en route to a 281 series.
"All five bowlers pitched in," Coach?Palmer said. "We had a 120-pin lead at the end first round, and we ended up winning by a total of 185."
The Wellsville boys' next match is Wednesday against Maplewood.
