WARREN -The Potters rolled past the Cardinals.
The East Liverpool girls' bowling team put forth a strong showing en route to a victory Monday night over Bloomfield at Champion Lanes.
The Potters finished match play with a total of 1312, and East Liverpool bowled a 124, 104 and 98 in the bakers matches for a total of 1638. The Cardinals finished match play with 882, and Bloomfield bowled a 105, 96 and 82 in the bakers matches to finish with a total of 1165.

Also for East Liverpool, Leighanna Frantz bowled a high game of 159, and Nicole Linkous and Mya Messenger each bowled high games of 130.
"The day was excellent," East Liverpool head coach Erik Adkins aid. "Becky bowled another 200 game. It is the third-straight match she has reached that total. In the second game, she didn't drop below 150. she has been struggling with that, so it was nice to see her to be able to turn it around as we are getting closer and closer to sectionals."
East Liverpool is now 3-4 on the season.
"Our record would be a little bit better if our leader had two good games back to back like she has had the past three matches," Adkins said. "She is stepping up, and all of the other girls are seeing her step up.
"Leighanna Frantz bowled her high game of the season. That was nice to see. She is the type of bowler who can stay in that vicinity if she puts her mind to it.
"I am looking forward to the rest of the season, and hopefully we can build off of this momentum."
East Liverpool's next match is at 4 p.m. Wednesday at home against McDonald at Walnut Lanes.
