ALLIANCE - The Christmas spirit was in full swing at Alliance Community Hospital's (ACH) Community Care Center (CCC). On Dec. 17, CCC residents, patients, family members and patients from Acute Rehab filled the dining room for the annual CCC Christmas party. Musical entertainment was provided by Robin Roseberry and Valerie Burk, daughters of a CCC resident. Holiday refreshments were prepared by the ACH Nutritional Services Department.
Santa and Mrs. Claus spread Christmas cheer as they greeted the party-goers. All children present were invited to share their Christmas wishes with Santa and to have their picture taken and given an early Christmas present. Presents were also presented to each of the residents and patients.
"It truly is better to give than receive when you see the surprise and joy on the faces of the residents as they open their gifts," said Lori Underwood, CCC activity director. "We have such a caring, generous staff here at CCC and ACH; thank you for helping to make this Christmas special."
