NORTH BENTON - Alice L. Johnson, 93, of North Benton died Monday at her home.
She was born June 14, 1919, in Joy, Ohio, the daughter of the late Sherman and Bertha (Stage) McNutt.
She retired from TRW in Minerva and had worked for Good Roads Machinery in Minerva and Republic Steel in Canton. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Stevenson and Raymond Johnson; a daughter, Elma Felton; and a son, William Stevenson.
She is survived by four daughters, Janet Harry of Alliance, Twila Herron of Malvern, Marcene (Bill) Lockridge of North Benton and Sherry Grethere of Fargo, N.D.; a son, Earl Stevenson Jr. of Malvern; three stepsons, Richard (Mary Lou) Johnson of Paris, Joe (Janet) Johnson of Minerva and Larry (Brenda) Johnson of Salem; and 274 grandchildren spanning six generations.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter McNutt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
