The eighth annual Recovery Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held Dec. 12 at the Taste of Country restaurant. People in recovery with mental illnesses conduct fund raisers to support the children's Christmas program at the Columbiana County Counseling Center. The volunteers raised $2,238 for this program in 2012 and presented a check during the luncheon to Roger Sikorszky, from left, executive director of the counseling center.
