EAST LIVERPOOL - The Irish swept the Tigers.
The Youngstown Urusline boys and girls bowling teams earned a sweep over Wellsville Wednesday night at Walnut Lanes.
The Irish won the boys' match, 1972-1725.
"We ran into a buzzsaw," Wellsville head coach Dale Palmer said.
For the Tigers, Matt Bowling bowled a high game of 167 with a series of 303, Tyler Corbin bowled a high game of 158 with a series of 305 and Noah Palmer bowled a high game of 153 with a series of 299.
Urusline won the girls' match, 1565-1545.
For Wellsville, Olivia Palmer boweld a high game of 154 with a series of 301, and Mystic Beatty bowled a high game of 134 with a 248 series.
Wellsville's next match is Jan. 4 against Alliance at Walnut Lanes.
