SALEM - Jack E. Cramer Jr., 81, of Salem, died at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday at his home.
Born June 5, 1931, in Barnesville, he was the son of the late Jack Sr. and Esther (Hendershott) Cramer.
Before his retirement, he had worked for 31 years as a pattern maker at the Eljer Company in Salem. After retiring he started Cramer Appliance Repair in Salem.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruth (Mayhew) Cramer and children, Kay Williams of Massillon, Karen (Ray) Griggy and Phylis (Steve) Smith of Leetonia, Dale (Lisa) Cramer of Salem, Tom and Tim Cramer of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Jackie Andrason of Raleigh, N. C.; two sisters, Elizabeth White of Salem and Maxine Lasky of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A stepson, Randel McNeal, preceded him in death.
Per his request, a memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
