Crestview 84, United 51

HANOVERTON - It was quite a birthday for Crestview's Robert Logan.

Logan tallied a career-high 46 points, which also matched a school record, as Crestview topped United 84-51 Tuesday. Logan also had 12 rebounds and four steals.

Collin Gilbert added 16 points and eight assists.

For United, Caleb Conser had 20 points. Brandon Miller and Braden Davison added eight points each.

Crestview won the jayvee contest 56-25. Evan Beachler had 11 for the Rebels.

Crestview (3-3, 2-2 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Springfield Tuesday.

United (0-6, 0-3 ITCL Tier 1) travels to South Range.

EAST PALESTINE - East Palestine topped Jackson-Milton 47-36 Tuesday.

Leading the Bulldogs was Austen Reiser with 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks. Nick Monteleone added 11 points, and Nate Keylor had six points and eight assists.

East Palestine won the jayvee game 47-39. Phil Fusetti had 16 points for the Bulldogs.

East Palestine (3-3, 3-1 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Lisbon Friday.

LISBON - Lisbon outlasted South Range Tuesday night 57-47.

Leading the Blue Devils was Josh Liberati with 14 points, six assists and seven rebounds. Josh Craig added 12 points, Matt Spencer 11 and Corey Brammer 10. Austin Rutecki also had eight points and 11 rebounds.

For Range, Tyler Beverly had 20 points. Mason Miller added 15.

The South Range jayvee team won 37-18. Nick Wiery had 10 for the Raiders.

Lisbon (4-2, 3-1 ITCL Tier 1) travels to East Palestine Friday.

South Range (2-4, 1-3 ITCL Tier 1) hosts United.

SEBRING - McDonald got off to a hot start in Sebring and rolled to an 83-44 victory.

Leading the Blue Devils was Tyler Smith with 18 points. Matt Seitz added 17.

For Sebring, Dylan Mick had 13 points, and Joe Davis added 12. Jerry Billingsley tallied seven rebounds, and Eddie Kolisar had six blocks.

McDonald also won the jayvee game 38-30. Andrew Weingart had 10 points.

Sebring (2-4, 1-3 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Western Reserve Friday.

McDonald (6-0, 4-0 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Leetonia.

COLUMBIANA - Lowellville dropped Columbiana 58-34 Tuesday.

Leading the Clippers was Jake DeJong with 18 points. Bryce Franken added nine.

Lowellville (4-2, 3-1 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at Wellsville.

Columbiana (0-6, 0-4 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Southern.

WELLSVILLE - Seth Bradford scored 25 and Nate Scott added 22 to lead Wellsville to an 87-70 win over Leetonia on Tuesday.

Bradford also grabbed 12 rebounds, while Scott dished out nine assists. The Tigers got contributions from up and down the roster, with Brendon Carr adding 12 points, Jordan Sloan going for nine points and six assists, Camden Douglas with 12 assists and five points, Antonio Fultz with six rebounds and six points and Sam McIntosh with eight points.

Trent Ferry led Leetonia with 21 points, while Ian Sevenich added 19 and Ian Steckner scored 10.

In the junior varsity game, Wellsville won 55-31. Sam McIntosh and Nigel Spann each scored 13 for the TIgers, while Michael Inboden scored seven for the Bears.

On Friday, Wellsville (5-1, 4-0 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Lowellville and Leetonia (2-5, 1-3 ITCL Tier 2) travels to McDonald.

SALINEVILLE - Southern Local led by just three at the half, 28-25, but cranked up the defensive intensity and limited Western Reserve to just 11 second-half points as the Indians went on to win 61-36 on Tuesday.

JJ Napierkowski finished with 15 points, seven assists and eight steals for the Indians (4-2), and Luke Griffith added 17 points and seven rebounds. Kyler Woodward scored eight and grabbed seven rebounds.

Nolan Snyder led the Blue Devils with 12 points.

Southern won the junior varsity game 72-31. Caleb Gotschall scored 19 and Christian Adkins added 14 to lead the Indians.

Southern (4-2, 2-2 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Columbiana on Friday.

Reserve (2-4, 1-3 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Sebring.

CANTON - Canton South used a 24-point second quarter to power past West Branch 62-42 Tuesday. With the win South improves to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference.

Armond Fontes led South with 21 points.

Leading the Warriors was Kip DeShields with 10 points and nine rebounds. Beau Taylor added 10 points.

Canton South also won the jayvee contest 56-31.

West Branch (1-3, 0-3 NBC) hosts Alliance Friday.
