LISBON - Columbiana County commissioners made some appointments during their meeting last week.
First, they reappointed Tim O'Hara of East Liverpool to another four-year term on the Buckeye Water District board of trustees. The board consists of nine members, three of whom are appointed by commissioners.
Board members are paid $200 per month by the BWD, plus $75 per month for any committee meetings, with monthly maximum pay set at $500. They receive no health insurance.
Commissioners also acted on the recommendation of the county airport authority board and appointed Nancy Dailey as secretary-treasurer for the airport authority. She replaces Vince Hoover, who recently resigned after eight years on the job, which pays $200 per month.
