LISBON - Elizabeth E. Powell, 84, of Steubenville Pike Road, died at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Vista Center.
Born Aug. 6, 1928, in Lisbon, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Letha (Barber) Hutcheson.
Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and had attended the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene.
Her husband, Menard G. Powell, whom she married April 29, 1949, preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2000.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda (Roger) Joy of Lisbon and Saundra (Vincent David) Eversole of Hanoverton; three sons, Menard "Bud" (Jennifer) Powell Jr. and Frederick (JoAnn) Powell Sr., both of Lisbon, and Brian (Lynn) Powell of Salem; a sister, Freeda (Jim) McAllister of Oak Hill, W. Va.; a brother, Floyd (Joyce) Hutcheson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Ludwig officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
