McDonald downs Wellsville

MCDONALD - The Blue Devils swept the Tigers.

The McDonald boys' and girls' bowling teams earned a sweep Thursday over visiting Wellsville.

With the losses, both Tigers' teams are now 1-1 on the year.

On the boys' side, McDonald finished with 1234, while Wellsville ended up with 1068.

Indivdually for the Tigers, Joey Shilot bowled a high game of 172. Shilot bowled two turkeys in the match. Also, Noah Palmer bowled a 131 with one turkey.

The Blue Devils won the girls' match, 1054-854.

For Wellsville, Olivia Cline bowled a high game of 135.

Wellsville's next match is Wednesday against Youngstown Cardinal Mooney at Walnut Lanes.
