Beth Anne Shasteen and Jacob Tyler Bender were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 4 p.m. Sept. 22 in the gazebo in Firestone Park in Columbiana.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Michelle Shasteen of Salem. The bridegroom's parents are Samuel and Ginger Bender, also of Salem.
Jessica Moser of Pittsburgh, Pa., was the maid of honor.

A private reception followed the ceremony at Das Dutch Haus.
The couple is planning a spring honeymoon to the Caribbean.
The new Mrs. Bender is employed as a substitute teacher in the Columbus area.
Mr. Bender works as a scientist at Boehringer Ingelhiem Pharmaceuticals.
The couple currently resides in Columbus.
