LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, Brigham L. Young, 25, East Grant Street, Alliance, was fined $1,550, sentenced to a year in jail and had his license suspended for two years for OVI third offense, driving under suspension, hit skip and failure to control.

George W. Pettis, 28, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $30 for driving under suspension, a seat belt violation and failure to display a valid sticker.

Debra J. Hurford, 44, South 12th Street, Beloit, was fined $725, had her license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and marked lanes.

Nicholas J. Dicello, 22, West Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for drug paraphernalia for a package of rolling papers and cigar wrappers. A drug abuse charge was dismissed.

Cassandra Browne, 21, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from a stop sign violation.

Zhu Xinyi, 27, Seattle, Wash., was fined $100 for driving under suspension and speeding.

A Dec. 17 court trial is set for Marvin L. Barber III, 19, West 16th Street, Salem, cited with reckless operation and speeding.

A Jan. 3 pretrial was set for Jewel L. Reed, 25, Scott Mill Road, Rogers, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing her mother by the hair and dragging her from the kitchen to the living room before attempting to punch her mother in the head.

A Jan. 15 pretrial was set for Michael C. Vogan, 37, Girard, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a turn signal violation.

A Jan. 17 pretrial was set for Jarrod Blake Starkey, 20, Cannon Mill Road, Wellsville, charged with OVI second offense, driving under OVI suspension, a seat belt violation and loud exhaust.

A Feb. 7 pretrial was set for Brandon S. Wynne, 31, West Taggart Street, East Palestine, charged with disorderly conduct, criminal damaging and resisting arrest for allegedly damaging a back patio tent at Big Dogs on Nov. 29, then causing problems for police investigating the issue.

A Feb. 12 pretrial was set for David M. Weikart, 41, Quincy Avenue, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense, driving under OVI suspension and prohibited U-turn.
