EAST PALESTINE- Dorothy E. Sedoris, 86, formerly of Windrose Court, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday at the Greenbriar Health Care Center in Boardman where she had been a patient for the past 11 months.
She was born Feb. 6, 1926. in Butler, Pa., and had resided in East Palestine for several years prior to moving to Columbiana eight years ago. She had been employed in the laundering department at North Side Hospital in Youngstown prior to her retirement in 1991.
She had attended the Calvary United Methodist Church in North Lima.
Her husband, Harold Sedoris Jr., had preceded her in death in 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Elaine Toney of Girard, Wendy (David) Kishton of Youngstown and Charlene (Lee) Williams of Poland; and a son, Russ (Judy) Heck of Youngstown. A brother, Lee Cratty of Butler, Pa., 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Gary Rinker and Pastor Renae Meggitt. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Youngstown.
