Amanda Louise deVillers of Jim Thorpe, Pa., and Justin Patrick McCutcheon of East Palestine were joined in marriage on Sept. 22 at Grace-St.Paul's United Methodist Church in Jim Thorpe, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of Marc and Donna deVillers of Albrightsville, Pa.
The bridegroom is the son of C.H. and Joyce McCutcheon of East Palestine.
Officiating at the 2 p.m. ceremony was Pastor Mark McTrustry of Centenary United Methodist Church of East Palestine. The ceremony included the exchange of vows, a sand ceremony by the couple's mothers and a Celtic hand fasting.
Emily Duncan, soloist, was accompanied by Jennifer Mollenkopf.
Kellianne Duncan and Gail Lynch provided scripture readings.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a strapless white chiffon A-line dress with a side-draped bodice, sweep train and lace-up back. Along with her bouquet of sunflowers, she carried the white Bible that was also carried by the bridegroom's grandmother, mother and aunts.
Andrea deVillers served her sister as maid of honor in a short, strapless dress of royal blue.
In similar royal blue dresses were bridesmaids Annie deVillers, the bride's sister-in-law; and Kayda Norman and Katarina Birle.
Gabriel Elder, the bridegroom's cousin, was the junior bridesmaid.
Garrett McCutcheon, the bridegroom's brother, performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Daniel deVillers, the bride's brother; and Jon Rettig and Dan Raiser.
Jack Raiser served as ring bearer.
Isaac Sutley and Jacob Elder, the bridegroom's cousins, performed the dual duties of usher and acolyte, respectively.
Ryan Sullivan presided over the guest book.
A reception, with David Mollenkopf as master of ceremonies, was held following the service at Mt. Laurel Golf Club in Whaitehaven, Pa. Local receptions were held the following weekend at East Palestine Country Club and at the bridegroom's grandparent's farm in Sandy Lake, Pa.
After a honeymoon in Washington, DC, the couple returned to Guam where the bridegroom is employed by dckWorldWide and the bride is completing her master's degree at the University of Guam and is employed by the War in the Pacific National Park.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegroom's parents, was held at Roadies at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa.
