'Fill the Community Center with Toys' set

LISBON - The Family and Community Resource Center will present local radio DJ Mr. Sports from Y-103 during its fifth annual "Fill the Community Center with Toys."

The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at 134 S. Market St., held directly following the Lisbon parade which begins at 11 a.m. Operation Kidsafe will provide free, digital finger printing for children.

Free cookies and hot chocolate will be available. For more information call FCRC at 330-420-0044.

Medicare services program offered

SALEM - Tom McClay, manager of the Salem Walgreens, will outline Medicare services at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 5 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

McClay will explain Medicare benefits and use the computers in the tutoring room for those wishing to register for the Medicare Part D prescription plan. Attendees are asked to call 330-332-5042 or e-mail Angela McCoy at angeladfm@sbcglobal.net.

Leetonia Sportman's holding Deer Expo

LEETONIA - The Leetonia Sportsman's Association's eighth annual Deer Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Leetonia Sportsman's Club, 311 E. High St.

Scorers will be on hand to "green" score your buck. Anyone bringing a rack to score or display will automatically be entered in a drawing for a muzzleloader.

To win, both the rack and the hunter must be present for the drawing at 3 p.m.

Everyone paying admission will be eligible to win a door prize and there will be a drawing every 10 minutes.

Young people 15 years of age and younger and accompanied by an adult will be admitted free and eligible to win an air rifle.
