FINDLAY- Richard Allen Reichert, 72, of Rawson, passed away at 3:16 a.m. on Friday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Richard was born on May 7, 1940, to the late Donald and Elizabeth "Betty" King (Bailey) Reichert in Salem. He married Mary Ann (Windle) Reichert on July 7, 1962, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 1988. Richard is survived by his wife Norma Jean (Krochmalny) Taylor, whom he married in 1999.
Richard is survived by three daughters, Suzanne (Darren) Cromer of Cary, N.C., Kimberly (Michael) Cain of Cincinnati and Pamela (Stephen) Ewald of Cincinnati; three step-children, Penny (Kenneth) Paul of Findlay, Michael Taylor of Findlay and Hiedie Taylor of Rawson; and seven grandchildren: He was preceded in death by a brother, David Reichert.
Richard was a 1958 graduate of Salem High School. He served in the National Guard from January to July 1963 and was a businessman and an entrepreneur, serving as owner and operator of B & J Photo for 47 years.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3:00 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Elderbrock will officiate and burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society.
