EAST PALESTINE - Arlene C. Sorrell, 58, of West Clark Street, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday at Essex I of Salem where she had been a patient, following a lengthy illness.
Born July 23, 1954, in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Mildred (Coffman) Benjamin.
Mrs. Sorrell had been employed as a decaler with the former Kingwood Ceramics.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Sorrell Sr., whom she married March 20, 1973; a son, Floyd E. (Tammy) Sorrell Jr. of Enon Valley, Pa.; a brother, Dean (Laura) Benjamin of Calcutta; two sisters, Elaine (Ed) Hostetter of Columbiana and her twin sister, Darlene (Rex) Catron of Lisbon; and four granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sons.
A celebration of her life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 25 at the home of her son, 342 Enon Road, Enon Valley, Pa.
