- A 14-year-old United Local High School student was arrested at the school at 2 p.m. Wednesday and charged with domestic violence for assaulting his father, who had arrived to take his son home. The boy had been acting defiant and disobeying school staff, and he reportedly refused to leave after the arrival of his father, who had to pin his son to the floor until deputies arrived.

- A state Route 517, Columbiana, man reported helping push a disabled vehicle into his driveway on Nov. 3, with the driver promising to return for it. As of Wednesday, The driver had yet to return, although the license plates were removed at some point. The homeowner was told he could have the vehicle towed at the owner's expense.

- The following Guilford Lake residents reported their vehicles entered and items stolen: Tracie Hart, Gurlea Street; Randall Swanson, Lakeview Drive; Amber Schultheis, Wisner Road; Bob Birk, Fantail Street.

- Deputies were called by a third party to a domestic dispute at Rose Drive apartments, Lisbon, at 10:19 p.m. Wednesday. A woman reported she was in the process of moving out when her drunken mother assaulted her. The woman declined to press charges.

- A woman reported showing up for work at the Avalon Restaurant, U.S. Route 30, Hanoverton, at 5:45 a.m. Thursday to find a man lurking near the garage. Upon seeing her, the person jumped into a pickup and fled.

- A Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, man reported there was a loud vehicle driving past his home at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. A deputy responded but did not come across the vehicle.

- A caller reported there were two suspicious semi-trailers at Sarchione Motors, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, at 10 p.m. Wednesday. A deputy arrived and learned the semis' were unloading vehicles for the lot.

- A Homeworth Road, Homeworth, woman reported arriving home at 5:22 p.m. Thursday to discover her home had been broken into. Missing were two flat-screen TVs, jewelry and watches.

- Tim Flowers Jr., Carmel Achor Road, Negley, called for a deputy at 6 p.m. Wednesday after his father pushed him and grabbed his 16-year-old brother by the throat and shoved him out of the house. Tim Flowers, 46, was charged with domestic violence.

- A deputy was called to Southern Local Elementary School on Wednesday to confiscate an MP3 brought to school by a sixth-grader because it contained pornography.

-A Watson Road, East Rochester, woman reported there was a suspicious vehicle at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday. A deputy checked the area but did not come across the vehicle.

-A Metz Road, Columbiana, woman reported Wednesday receiving threatening text messages from a woman she knows. The deputy left a message with the person to contact him about the complaint.
