LISBON - A Salineville-area man pleaded guilty as charged to breaking into a closed supermarket in that town.

Mykel L. Crooms, 25, of Clarks Mill Road, is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 7 after pleading guilty as charged to breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools and obstructing police business.

Crooms was found hiding inside the former IGA in Salineville on June 3 after having broken into the supermarket. He was found in possession of a hacksaw, pliers, hammer and bolt cutters, and then gave police false information about his accomplices.
