Woman gets probation for theft on job

LISBON - A Rogers-area woman who stole money from her employer was sentenced to probation and ordered to repay the funds, in action this occurred this week in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

Christina L. Flickinger, 39, of Dutchtown School Road, was sentenced by Judge Scott Washam to three years probation and ordered to make restitution after previously pleading guilty to theft charges.

Flickinger was working at RMH Services when she wrote checks to herself involving company funds totaling $6,046 between September 2011 and February 2012.

In other court action, Alex J. Blosser, 24, Fife Coal Road, Wellsville, was sentenced to 240 days in the county jail, with credit granted for 218 already served, after pleading guilty to the charge of being a sex offender and failing to advise the sheriff where he lived. Blosser is a sex offender because of a rape conviction that occurred in 2007 in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army.
