Harold and Shirley Thompson of Hanoverton celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22.
The former Shirley Rowley and Mr. Thompson were married on Oct, 22, 1947, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Salineville.
The couple has four children, David Thompson of Hanoverton, Diane (Janis) Baltputnis of Salem, James (Susan) Thompson of Lisbon and Lynnelle (Elmer) Zimmerman of New Waterford. The Thompsons have three grandchildren, one step-grandchild and one step-great-grandchild.
