LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday Allan W. Murphy III, 20, Beaver Falls, Pa., was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 82 days served for underage consumption to run concurrently with his sentence in a common pleas court case where Murphy pleaded guilty to burglary on Tuesday. Sentencing is set for Jan. 11 on the felony case, which stemmed from Murphy going into the home of Geraldine Tanchuk and Jade Eichler, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, while they were asleep, and attempting to steal a laptop computer and cell phone.

Mitchel O. Lacey, was fined $250, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to 15 days in jail for drug paraphernalia for a crack pipe.

David Barnhart, 34, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $200 for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct for a fight at 12:53 a.m., Aug. 31 and subsequent call to Columbiana police after Barnhart returned to the South Main Street location, pounded on the door and yelled profanities in the backyard less than an hour later.

Kristina R. Mooney, 25, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $150 and had her license suspended for 180 days for no license and drug paraphernalia.

Dennis S. Quinn, 52, Court Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Laura Battaglia, High Street, Salineville, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

David T. Grodhaus, 22, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana.

A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Lynsee M. Ahearn, 19, Fairview Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and disregard for safety on private property.

A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Brenda S. Chase, 46, state Route 45, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Aaron J. Korbel, 31, Wood Street, Wellsville, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after the highway patrol found a pickup in a ditch on Sept. 7.
