- A Rochester Road, East Rochester, woman reported at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday someone called pretending to be her grandson and when she told him she was going to call her grandson, the phone went dead.

- John Wolf at the MRDD bus garage, reported at 8:22 p.m. Tuesday there was a semi truck parked in the bus garage lot. Deputies found the driver sleeping in the back of the cab waiting to deliver to the dog food plant on Industrial Drive. He moved the semi truck down by the plant.

- A state Route 165, East Palestine, woman reported at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday she left her home at about 9 a.m. and came home to find the side door of her home damaged. She then found the back kitchen window smashed out and the rear sliding door open. A flat screen television was missing, along with a pink gold engraved wedding band and miscellaneous jewelry.

- A state Route 45, Lisbon, man reported at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday he had a 100-pound tank stolen from behind his garage sometime since they used it last Friday.

- A Fife Coal Road, Wellsville, man reported at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday the neighbor's goats were out again. Deputies called the neighbor, who at first claimed they were not out, but changed his story when deputies told him they were en route and would cite him if they were out when they arrived.

- A Pioneer Road, Lisbon, man reported at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday reported his son was cutting up a tree on his property. Deputies found the son, who was cutting up a tree, which had fallen across the road. The son told deputies his aunt actually owns the property and when his father is intoxicated, he causes problems. Deputies went to the trailer and found the father intoxicated. He eventually admitted he does not own the property.

- A Lynchburg Road, East Rochester, man reported at 1:26 p.m. Tuesday a man came to his home trying to sell him a home air filtration system for the second time this week. There were two other people in the pickup and they were acting suspicious so he told them to leave and not return.

- A state Route 164, Columbiana, man reported at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday he placed American Flags on the graves of military personnel in the Cool Springs Cemetery and the flags were taken.

- An abandoned vehicle was reported by the highway patrol at 7:04 a.m. Tuesday on Hazel Run Road near Temme Road in Washington Township. The vehicle attempted to contact the owner, Michael Martin, Third Street, East Liverpool, but were unable to find a phone number so the vehicle was towed.

- A state Route 344, Columbiana, woman reported suspicious activity at 8:39 p.m. Tuesday at Ohio Auto in Fairfield Township. At first deputies believed one of the headlights was flashing on one of the vehicles, but it was determined to be an aftermarket strobe light on.
