Rena A. Milcetich

CANTON - Rena A. Milcetich, 91, formerly of Alliance and Leetonia, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at the Canton Christian Home in Canton.

Mrs. Milcetich was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Coshocton, Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Josephine Braghini Wranau, moving to Leetonia as a child. She lived in Alliance for 24 years before moving back to Leetonia in 1976.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, L.C.B.A. Branch #909 of Leetonia and the Infant of Prague Guild of Alliance. She was an avid reader and card player, belonging to several card clubs.

Her husband, John F. Milcetich, whom she married April 12, 1945 died April 24, 1981. A daughter, Jean M. Milcetich, a son, John G. Milcetich; and two sisters, Angeline Guzzo and Mary C. Daly are also deceased.

She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte M. (Leonard) Picallo of Clayton, Calif., and Christine A. Milcetich of Canton; three sons, William F. (Margot) Milcetich of Ravenna, Francis A. (Elizabeth) Milcetich of Coopersburg, Pa., and George T. (Therese) Milcetich of Hollywood, Md.; a daughter-in-law, Marybeth Milcetich of Gaithersburg, Md.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Leetonia with the Rev. Stephen Wassie officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home in Leetonia.

Memorial tributes may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary Cemetery Association, or Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
