POLAND - Daniel R. Donnelly, 65, of Poland, passed away on Oct. 26, 2012.
A 1965 graduate of Leetonia High School, he spent a great deal of his working life at NRM Corporation in Columbiana, Ohio. Dan enjoyed watching, discussing, and writing about sports. He was known locally for his weekly predictions of area football games and wrote a weekly column, "Dan's Dope," for the Columbiana Ledger.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy; a son Rex of Uniontown, Ohio, a son Jason of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and a granddaughter Xzaria of New York. Also surviving Dan are his mother, Betty Donnelly of Leetonia and his two sisters, Linda Schneider and Sandra Casacchia.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Donnelly and an infant sister, Patricia.
As per Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours or services.
