donations for Sandy victims
LISBON - Donations are being accepted for Hurricane Sandy victims. The Joshua Project is collecting non-perishable items, clothing, blankets, diapers, toothbrushes and water, through Nov. 9, to be distributed among the hardest hit areas of New York and New Jersey. Drop-off collection sites are open in Calcutta at the Destiny House from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; in East Liverpool at the Chamber of Commerce from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the United Way office next door from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Wellsville First Christian Church from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Lisbon First United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (use alley door).
