Pleads guilty to records, tax charges

LISBON - Shadi A. Murra, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to counts two and eight of an indictment. Murra was charged with tampering with records, theft, five counts of failure to remit sales tax and trafficking in cigarettes without a license. Murra pleaded guilty to failing to pay sales tax on receipts from the Wellsville and East Liverpool King's Carry Outs between Nov. 2011 and Jan 2012, an amount of $9,231. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to the trafficking in cigarettes charge.

Murra faces up to 19 months incarceration and a fine of $6,000. Sentencing is set for Jan. 3.

Tiara M. Sullivan, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs. She faces up 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine, along with a 10-year license suspension. Sentencing is set for Jan. 3. Court documents state Sullivan was in possession of 5.9 grams of crack cocaine and 3.3 grams of heroin.
