Jackson wins Pigskin Picks for Week 10

EAST LIVERPOOL - Gale Jackson, of East Liverpool, was the winner of Week 10 of The Review's Pigskin?Picks. Jackson went 9-1. She also correctly picked the tiebreaker with 56 points.

Bowling league results annouunced

EAST LIVERPOOL - Flaming Balls (18-10) leads the standings of the Walnut Lanes Ladies League. Pin Ups (17-11), Ridge Runners (16.5-11.5) and Bowling Buddies (15.5-12.5) are the next three teams in the standings. Spark's Auto Care (13.5-14.5), Alley Angels (13-15) and Strikers (9.5-18.5) round out the standings. Paula Martin bowled a high game of 177 with a series of 470, Barb Arthur bowled a game of 178 with a series of 457 and Deb Radeschi bowled a 159 with a series of 444. Also, Jane Rudibaugh bowled a 174, Barb Bibbee bowled a 168 and Nancy Paulasukas bowled a 165.

Touchdown club to meet Thursday

CALCUTTA - There will be a Beaver Local touchdown Club meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the high school.

Takedown club to meet Monday

WELLSVILLE - The Wellsville Wrestling Takedown Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Village Hall.

Volleyball Club holding tryouts

WARREN - The East Ohio Volleyball?Club is holding tryouts Nov. 11 and 18 at the Warren YMCA. Players in grades 6-8 will try out from 1-3 p.m. Players in grades 9-12 will try out from 3-5 p.m. Players in any grade will try out from 5-6 p.m. For information, call 330-219-1368 or visit www.eovc.org. Club Hollywood tryouts to be held Nov. 11

Chester-Newell Sportsmen Club activities

CHESTER - The Chester-Newell Sportsmen Club is having Turkey Shoots at 10 a.m. on Sundays through Nov. 11. Cost per shot is $2, lucky X and $5 per shot money shoots. Factory guns and tubes only. EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool Middle School football banquet will be held from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 7 in the high school cafeteria. Tickets are $15 and will be available from 5-6 p.m. Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 1 at the middle school main entrance. Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 2. EAST LIVERPOOL -?The East Liverpool High School football banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Columbiana County Career Center. Tickets are $20 for 12 and over and $15 for 12 and under. Potter Prime Time scheduled for Nov. 21

EAST LIVERPOOL - Potter Prime Time is slated Nov. 21 at Potter Fieldhouse. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. East Liverpool basketball teams in grades 7-12 (boys and girls) as well coaches and cheerleaders will be introduced. The Alumni Basketball Game also returns. Participants must be an ELHS graduate who played varsity boys basketball. Cost to participate is $10 and includes a t-shirt. OG boys basketball boosters meeting
