BRUNSWICK - Lori Ann Jackson Fisher, 55, of Brunswick, entered into eternal rest after a long battle with diabetes on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Medina Hospital.
Born Jan. 22, 1957, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of Richard D. and Jennie (Mozina) Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1985.
Survivors include her husband John Fisher and her daughter Jennifer Fisher of Brunswick, Ohio.
She is also survived by her mother, Jennie Jackson of Salem; her sisters, Sandra (Carl) Hoerig and Amy (Joseph) Farago; and her brother, Richard S. (Dawn) Jackson.
Lori graduated from Salem High School in 1975 and went on to become a registered nurse, studying at Timken Mercy Hospital and Walsh University of Canton, Ohio. She worked at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland for most of her career until her illness disabled her. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick.
She will be remembered as a caregiver to so many people throughout her entire life. Lori was an avid quilter and animal lover. She had two dogs that she cherished.
A visitation service will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 935 E. State St., Salem. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
