EL man pleads guilty to break-in

LISBON - Scott A. McKinnon, 51, College Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on Monday to breaking and entering and was sentenced to nine months in prison. Court documents state McKinnon on March 13 broke into the West End Auto Rental, Webber Way, East Liverpool, with the intention of committing a theft or a felony.

Francis J. Lewis, 31, Oak Ridge Road, Wellsville, pleaded guilty Monday to trafficking in drugs. Lewis faces up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Dec. 13.

According to court documents, Lewis last Nov. 2 sold crack cocaine to agents in the parking lot of the Sparkle in Salem, within 1,000 feet of a day care center.

Lynda M. Levy, 28, last known address West Fourth Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to trafficking in marijuana on Friday. She was sentenced to three years intervention in lieu of conviction.

Court documents state on Sept. 14, 2011, Levy sold 27.8 grams of marijuana to a confidential informant for $150, while two children were in her vehicle parked at the Get Go in Salem.
