Suzie Rezenom and Aaron James Esbenshade are engaged and planning to be married on Sept. 29. The couple's open church wedding ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 436 E. Second St., Salem. Invitations have been issued for the private reception to follow at Dutch Village Inn.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tereza Branca of Asmara, Eritrea, and the late Haile Rezenom Guangul. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jay and Rita Esbenshade of Knopp Road, Salem.
