CALCUTTA - The Warriors came up short.

American Spirit Academy's Joe Langdon and Robert Buck each scored goals, but it was not enough as the Robinson Township Christian soccer team defeated the Warriors, 4-2, Tuesday at Beaver Creek.

Josh Blakeley tallied an assist for the Warriors (1-5-1).

Will Martin made 20 saves in goal.

"The kids are playing hard," ASA head coach Tim Connor said. "They are sticking in there the whole game. Even when we are done, everyone is sticking in there, and the school, the parents, the teachers, everyone is proud of them."

Monday, American Spirit Academy tied the Western Pennsylvania School of the Deaf, 3-3.

Blakeley recorded a hat trick to lead the way for the Warriors.

Bo Tatgenhorst and Langdon each delivered an asssist. Langdon also made one non-goalie save.

Martin made 10 saves in goal.

American Spirit Academy's next game is Thursday at First Baptist.
