CANFIELD - Ruth H. Fenton, 97, died Monday at Blossom Nursing Home.
Born July 28, 1915 in Homeworth, she was the daughter of Harvey and Hannah (Bauman) Hahlen.
Mrs. Fenton graduated from Goshen High School in 1933 and lived most of her life in the Canfield area. She was of the Lutheran faith. She was the owner/operator of Fenton's Amoco in Canfield.
Survivors include her children, Ray Fenton of California, Glen (Janice) Fenton of New Baltimore, Ruby (Dan) Yeager of Berlin Center and Elsie Wolfgang of Lisbon; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry Fenton who died on Oct.24, 1972, daughter Charlotte Culp and great grandson Jacob Culp.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chape. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
