LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, a Sept. 24 preliminary hearing was set for Forrest Lee Patterson, charged with carrying a concealed weapon after deputies allegedly found a Ruger P-95 with one bullet in the magazine in a backpack in the back seat of the pickup Patterson was sleeping in when deputies served him with a warrant at a home on Dutchtown School Road on Friday. Drugs were also reportedly found, but no citation has been issued.

Chris A. Griffith, 51, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, was fined $1,425, sentenced to 60 days in jail, had his license suspended for 36 months and required to perform 40 hours community service for OVI third offense, driving under OVI suspension and failure to control. A charge of OVI refusal with a prior within the past 20 years was dismissed. Griffith was involved in a one-vehicle crash on July 15 and suffered minor injuries.

Sara M. Bable, 26, Somer Street, Leetonia, was fined $750, had her license suspended for six months, required to perform 80 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for failure to control and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Deziray N. Eckenrode, 21, Blossom Road, Salineville, was fined $100 and sentenced to one day in jail for theft for taking several items from the Dollar General in Salineville and placing them into her purse on Aug. 7.

Terrin C. Brown, 25, Warren, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for six months for prohibitions for an open container of alcohol in his vehicle and possession of marijuana.

Paul D. Walker, 37, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $130 for improper registration and no license amended from driving under suspension.

Sarah B. Jones, 25, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $120 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to control.

Sheri Ann McCue, 25, Darlington, Pa., was fined $100 for disorderly conduct amended from drug abuse for marijuana.

Brandie N. Lawrence, 26, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for theft for taking two cans of energy drink from Rogers Food and Fuel.

Richard S. Beadnell, 26, and Geri D. Lewis, 28, both of Water Street, Salineville, were each fined $100, sentenced to one day in jail and required 25 hours community service for theft for placing several items into the stroller they were pushing around Dollar General in Salineville on Aug. 3.

Julie M. Poling, 48, Van Buren Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for domestic violence for scratching her husband on the side of his forehead and his face on July 16.

Treg Dressler, 37, Freeburg, Pa., was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Marian Siefke, Furnace Road, Lisbon, was fined $25 for failure to confine a dog.

A Sept. 24 pretrial was set for Roy L. Richards Jr., 51, Homeworth Road, Alliance, charged with domestic violence after allegedly picking his wife up from the bed before throwing her against a doorway, dragging her from her bedroom, slamming her against the door and dragging her out of the house down the stairs on Monday night.

An Oct. 9 pretrial was set for Anthony M. Zimmerly, 23, state Route 644, Kensington, charged with driving under FRA suspension and a seat belt violation.

An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Richard J. Fry, 38, Rosedale Avenue, Wellsville, charged with assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and two counts of criminal damaging. According to court documents when Wellsville police arrived at an Aten Avenue home they could hear screaming coming from the house and Fry allegedly forced open a bedroom door by pushing a woman out of the way, damaged a door and window screen, overturned furniture in the kitchen and broke pottery in the kitchen and attempted to run down the stairs while handcuffed.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for Marcus A. Moxley, 42, Frischkorn Drive, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly choking Kristie Reed and throwing her to the living room floor of her Maple Avenue, Wellsville, home on Sept. 2.

An Oct. 30 pretrial was set for Jenna M. Murray, 31, Westfield Road, East Liverpool, cited with speeding.

A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Jill A. Brothers, 49, Tomahawk Drive, Negley, charged with OVI first offense, marked lanes and left of center.

A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Jennifer M. White, 30, state Route 39, Salineville, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A driving without a valid license charge against Charles D. Green, 26, Aetna Street, Salem, was dismissed.

A driving under suspension charge against Sara C. Christofaris, 29, Merle Road, Salem, was dismissed.
