LISBON- Shirley Ann Miller, 78, formerly of South Lincoln Avenue, died at 7:05 a.m. Saturday at Essex of Salem III.
Born July 12, 1934, in Elkton, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Kenneth and Margaret Louise (Beadle) McMillan.
She was a homemaker.
A 1952 graduate of Leetonia High School, she was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, F.O.E. Aerie 2216 Auxiliary and played piano in a number of area bands including W.P.M.M. Country.
She will be missed by her children, Sandra A. Conn of Lisbon, Scott (Cindy) Miller of Minerva, Mark (Pam) Miller and Amy (Brad) Poynter both of Lisbon; her sister Kay McMillan and brother Lee (Kathy) McMillan both of Lisbon; grandchildren Laura Beth Mercina, Maggie Burton, Hayden Miller, Donnie and Samantha Miller, Matt Baker and Michael and Jacob Poynter; and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband Donald I. Miller, whom she married Dec. 5, 1952, died May 27, 1999.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home.
