LEETONIA - Barbara J. Hephner, 69, of Lisbon Road, died at 12:20 a.m. Friday at Northside Medical Center following a recent illness.
Mrs. Hephner was born July 26, 1943 in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Leonard "Chip" and Eileen (Stewart) Lowmiller and had lived in the area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on their family's dairy farm.
She was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, where she had served as the church secretary at one time.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, David C. Hephner, whom she married Oct. 14, 1962; sons, Tad (Karen) Hephner, Tim (Debra) Hephner and Troy Hephner, all of Leetonia; sisters, Nancy (Jim) Irwin and Betty (Mike) Zwick, both of East Rochester; brother, Dale (Lana) Lowmiller of Minerva; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday at the Eells- Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jacobs United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 9pm Monday at the funeral home.
