LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, Mary B. Shuman, 29, Sharp Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for failure to confine a dog for a pit bull type dog found loose in Salem on Monday and matching the description of a dog which had just reportedly killed a cat in the area.

Dustin Farina, 27, South Elm Street, Columbiana, was fined $280 and required 50 hours of community service for driving under FRA suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Tommy Shultz, 30, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct for entering a home on Vine Avenue while intoxicated and sitting on the back porch unsure where he was at when police arrived.

Stephanie J. Helmick, 34, Rea Drive, Salem, and George S. Koegler, 41, Monaca, Pa., were each fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from speeding.

Philip Kimla III, 36, U.S. Route 62, Salem, was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

An Oct. 11 pretrial was set for Charles S. Earich, 34, Jefferson Street, Salineville, cited with OVI second offense and driving under suspension.

A Nov. 6 pretrial was set for Gino W. Albright, 30, East Third Street, Salem, charged with assault and criminal damaging. Albright allegedly on June 24 kicked Stephanie Reed in the back of her head three times while she was lying on the living room floor at an East Fifth Street home, grabbed her by the hair and pushed her out of the front door of the home. Additionally, he reportedly took her purse without permission and threw its contents to the pavement damaging items.

A Nov. 8 pretrial was set for Bowen G. Pitts, 20, West Main Street, Salineville, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
