Painted Tiger paws for sale

WELLSVILLE - The Wellsville Touchdown Club will be selling "Tiger Paws" painted on your sidewalk. They are bright orange 18"x18". All proceeds will help support the Daw Middle School and Wellsville High School football players. The cost of each paw is $10. WaveRunners swim team registration Sept. 15

CALCUTTA - The Youth Swim Team WaveRunners will be holding team Registration for the 2012-13 swim season on Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Calcutta YMCA for kids ages 5-18 years. For more information, call the YMCA at 330-385-6400.

Beaver Local hosting free youth vball clinic

CALCUTTA - The Beaver Local volleyball coaching staff and players will be hosting a free youth clinic from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The clinit will run for four straight Saturdays and is open to Beaver Local girls in grades 3-6. Information is available in each elementary school building and at the middle school. Calcutta Lions Club raffling Steelers package

CALCUTTA - The Calcutta Lions Club is offering a chance to win a Steelers package for the Oct. 28 game versus the Washington Redskins. The package includes:?two game tickets, $100 cash, $100 gas card and two Steelers jerseys. Raffle tickets are $5 and are available from any Lions Club member or at the following locations:?Hoge's Restaurant, Four Seasons Mini Mart, J Sabatini Shoes, Calcutta Lock Specialties, Stitch-a-Long Quilt Shop. BL super scramble golf outing to be Sept. 22

EAST LIVERPOOL A super scramble golf outing will be held Sept. 22 at Turkana Golf Course. Play will be from noon until 8 p.m. Players will play as many holes as they can get in. The cost is $50 per person, or $200 for a four-person team. Players can use any score from any round of 18 holes of golf for their total score. Call 330-382-1187 for earlier tee times. All proceeds will benefit the Beaver Local junior class.

Canfield tennis invitational accepting teams

CANFIELD - The Canfield High School tennis team will be hosting the Cardinal JV Invitational on Sept. 29. There will be several divisions of play, non-elimination. Varsity players, as well as JV players, from state sanctioned high schools or non-sanctioned teams/individuals can participate. Oak Glen basketball holding golf scramble

NEW MANCHESTER - The Oak Glen girls' and boys' basketball teams will be holding a four-person golf scramble at 9 a.m. Sept. 22 at Pleasant Hills golf course. Oak Glen High School PE Riverfest 5K

NEW CUMBERLAND - The New Cumberland Park Board is sponsoring The Oak Glen High School PE Riverfest 5K at 9 a.m. Sept. 29. The race is scheduled to begin at Hines Park Gazebo on Route 2 in New Cumberland. Proceeds will benefit the Oak Glen High School Physical Education Department. 3-D Archery shoots to be held on Sundays

NEW MANCHESTER - The Chester/Newell Sportsman Club will be holding 3-D archery shoots every Sunday during September. Registration will be from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for youth. There will be 30 3-D targets featuring McKenzie XT's. The club is located on Gas Valley Road behind the Green Valley Dairy. Beaver Local 3x5 flags now on sale

CALCUTTA Beaver Local is selling 3'x5' Beaver Local flags. Flags have the interlocking BL with either a white or red background. The cost is $20 per flags and flags can be purchased at the Beaver Local Administration building from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the St. Clair Township Chamber of Commerce office.
