Salem 1958 breakfast set Saturday
SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1958 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday at Adele's Place. All classmates are welcome to attend. The class is also sponsoring the teen group, the ROC.

EAST PALESTINE - An open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at East Palestine High School on Monday.
Southern Local board meeting canceled
SALINEVILLE - The Southern Local Board of Education has canceled its board meeting scheduled for Monday. The next meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in room E136 at the high school.
LISBON - The Columbiana County Board of Elections will meet in regular session at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the board office located at 7989 Dickey Drive, Suite 3.
Salem 1963 lunch set at Salem Hills
SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1963 plans to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.
Storytimes at Columbiana Library
COLUMBIANA - Registration is still open for the fall sessions of storytimes at the Columbiana Public Library for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. New this fall is Babytime which is a lapsit program offered for babies 6 to 18 months and their caregiver. Sessions are held once a month on the third Tuesday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 18.
Toddlertime is a lapsit program and will be held weekly on Thursday mornings from 10 to 10:30 or 11 to 11:30 for toddlers age 18 months up to 3 years and their caregivers.
Storytime will be held weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 10:45 or Thursday afternoons from 1 to 1:45 for ages 3 to 5.
All classes include age appropriate stories, finger plays, and crafts for the older children, and are free to the public. Pre-registration is required by calling 330-482-5509 or at the library at 332 N. Middle St.
Salem Library sets fall storytimes
SALEM - The fall session of storytimes begins the week of Sept. 9 and runs every week until Nov. 14 in the Quaker Room at the Salem Public Library. Storytimes are designed just for pre-readers, with stories, music, rhymes, movement, crafts, and playtime. Babies and Books have been added to the storytime series for babies from ages 3-18 months and a caregiver. It will be held at 10 a.m. on Mondays. Grownups should be prepared to sit on the floor so that they can sing, dance, lift, and bounce babies.
Family Storytime will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Children of all ages, with a caregiver, are welcome. Toddler Tales meets at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. This program is for children ages 18 months to 36 months, with a favorite caregiver. Preschool Power, for ages 3 to 5, can join in the fun on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. No registration is required.
The Lego Club meets once a month on Saturday mornings and is open to children in kindergarten through fifth grade who bring their LEGOs to the library. Lego Club kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday using blocks and imaginations to create bridges, buildings, or other cityscapes. No sign-up is required.
