SALEM - Dennis Lynn Mellinger, 49, of Salem passed away at his home on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
Dennis was born in Salem on Dec. 27, 1963, the son of James E. and Judith (Needham) Mellinger.
He was a graduate of West Branch High School and worked at Quaker City Castings.
Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, riding motorcycles and hunting but he loved to spend time with his family especially his two granddaughters.
Survivors include his parents, his wife Darla (Campbell) Mellinger, a son, Joshua R. Mellinger, all of Salem, two granddaughters, Marie Lynn and Lillian Pearl, and a brother, James O. Mellinger of Homeworth.
Per Dennis' wish cremation will take place and a Private family service will be held. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.brownfhonline.com. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home in Salem.
