LEETONIA - Janice B. Priestley, 87, died Thursday evening.
Born Nov. 30, 1924, in Lodi, she was the daughter of Glenn and Ada Musser Briggs.
Mrs. Priestly had been a census worker in 1980 and had also sold World Book Encyclopedias.
Her husband, Gilbert A. Priestley, whom she married Dec. 21, 1946, died Jan. 19, 1991.
Survivors include three daughters, B.G. Goodwon of Yellow Springs, Nina Priestley of Dayton and Nola (Peter) Horvath of Leetonia; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
It was her wish to donate her body to science.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
