SALEM - The O'Reilly Auto Parts Store will open at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
The auto parts company confirmed it was moving into the Salem market in March after purchasing the former Rite Aide property in a $475,000 deal last November.
The store will employ five people and occupies 9,000 square feet of showroom and inventory space. The address is 2216 E. State St.

O'Reilly opens about 170 stores a year and is the title-rights sponsor for five National Hot Rod Association national events in 2012.
O'Reilly is the second largest auto parts chain in the country behind AutoZone and ahead of Advance Auto Parts as far as the number of stores.
Both Autozone and Advance Auto Parts have Salem locations along with NAPA.
A specialty retailer in the automotive aftermarket, O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (NASDAQ: ORLY) sells parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories serving both the do-it-yourself and professional service provider markets.
It also sells new and remanufactured automotive hard parts, maintenance items and appearance products along with auto body paint and related materials.
The company was founded in 1957 and operates about 3,700 stores in 39 states, including Alaska and Hawaii as of March 2011.
As of May 2011, Autozone operated 4,467 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, with 261 stores in Mexico.
The Salem property is on the northeast corner of East State Street and North Madison Avenue. The lot previously had an address of 120 N. Madison Ave.
Hours are 7:30 a.m to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The property was originally purchased by Misty Sea Inc. of New York for $800,000 in 1988.
O'Reilly operates four stores in the Youngstown area and four in the Canton area.
