LISBON - Melissa S. Mills, 27, West Pershing Street, Salem, pleaded guilty on Friday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to receiving stolen property and forgery.
According to court documents, Mills had a stolen check from the account of Brittany N. Adair on April 18, 2011 and attempted to cash it at Consumer's National Bank in Salem by forging the check.
She faces up to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Oct. 26.
