SALEM - James Richard Wright, 51, of Salem, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at the home of his sister.

Her was born on July 13, 1961 in Salem to Jean Ellen (Beighley) Wright and the late Raymond Wright.

He was the owner of the Ice Guy in Salem for the last four years. He was Catholic by faith and was brought up in St. Paul's Catholic Church. A resident of the Salem area most of his life, but did live in California and Arizona. He formerly was employed at Sekley Tool and Die from 1987-1998, National machine Group from 2000-2003, and Wings Way Ice from 2003-2007.

In addition to his mother of Salem, he is survived by brother John Dean Wright of Salem, two sisters, Debra Jean Wright of Youngstown and Mary Jo (Husband Edward) Kelley of Fernandina Beach, Fla.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Gail Elizabeth Wright in 2005.

A service will be held at a later date to be announced.

The family has requested that donation be made to Hospice of the Valley.

Arrangements by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home, Salem.
