- At 9 a.m. Saturday police issued a citation to Brenda Baker, 48, Sharp Avenue, for dogs running at large. A Sharp Avenue man reported at 11 a.m. Saturday the dog owned by Baker was on his porch again. Police had the dog picked up.

- A woman reported at 11:48 a.m. Saturday she felt threatened by the manager of the South Broadway Avenue business where she works.

- Police took plants from a West Pershing Street home as evidence after receiving a report at 2 p.m. Saturday that the plants were marijuana.

- Police took a 16-year-old boy in custody on a warrant at 2:55 p.m. Saturday on Woodland Avenue.

- Tina Taylor, Walnut Street, reported at 7:18 a.m. Saturday someone cut a large hole in the side of her pool causing the water to drain out.

- Police went to the bar at 188 Railroad St. at 2:33 a.m. Saturday on a report of a fight in progress. The police were told two men were in a fight, and one had punched the other in the face. Police spoke with the man who was injured, and he refused medical treatment and did not wish to press charges.

- Police arrested two boys at 2:35 a.m. Saturday in the area of North Howard Avenue and West Fifth Street after someone reported they were dressed all in black and looking into vehicles parked along the street.

-Police went to an East Third Street home at 3:23 a.m. Saturday for a report of a fight. It was found that an intoxicated Hispanic man had attempted to cause a fight. He was calmed down, and the family told him he could come back inside and go to bed.

- Police and fire officials found a large tree limb blocking West Eighth Street at 3:56 a.m. Saturday. The street department removed the limb.

- A woman reported at 9:56 p.m. Saturday a family member was speaking bad about another family member at a South Broadway Avenue home.

- Police went to a Sharp Avenue home at 9:18 p.m. Friday for a request of someone to be removed. Police found everyone there was highly intoxicated. No charge were filed.

- Police questioned an East Third Street resident at 7:57 p.m. Friday about a dirt bike that was reported stolen in July. It was found the bike was not the same one that had been reported stolen.

- Police responded to a custody dispute at an East Fourth Street home at 7:31 p.m. Friday.

- A man turned in a wallet he found on East State Street at 6:10 p.m. Friday.

- An East Sixth Street resident reported at 6 p.m. Friday a Pittbull was at large in the area. Police checked the area but did not find the dog.

- Police went to an East Third Street home at 6 p.m. Friday for a report of a domestic. It was found that the residents were in a verbal dispute over personal and relationship issues and they agreed to stay away from each other.

- Darby S. McCoy, 42, Cherry Valley Drive, was charged for stop sign violation and general OVI at 6 p.m. Friday on Ohio Avenue at Oak Street.

-Someone reported at p.m. Friday teenagers were using vulgar language at the Centennial Park playground. Police went there and did not hear any foul language being used.

- Lawrence Repicky, 55, Rocky River, Cuyahoga County, was westbound on East State Street at 4:10 p.m. Friday and was forced to stop for traffic at the Southeast Boulevard intersection and Thomas J. Barrett, 17, Woodland Avenue, Salem, failed to stop and struck Repicky's vehicle. Barrett was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

- Someone reported at 1:39 p.m. Friday three dogs were running at large in the 600 block of Sharp. Police checked the area but did not see any dogs running at large.

- Police took Jeff R. Martin, 40, Salem-Alliance Road, into custody on a county warrant at 12:50 p.m. Friday on East State Street.
